HAPPY CLIENT

I have been a hot rod guy since a kid. One car I have always wanted was a 1936 Chevrolet 5 Window Coupe that was ready to go. I found one that was close to my dream car on Classic Car Store’s website. All steel body built from the ground up as a Pro-Touring car and built right. Jim was very helpful, specific and told me the good and bad about the car. I decided to buy it, bought a one-way ticket from Oklahoma to Birmingham, AL. I hoped the car was what it was supposed to be. Jim picked me up at the Airport and took me to the Owner, an elderly gentleman in a small country town. The car was everything represented, much nicer than I expected. After getting the banking handled I made a road trip back home to Oklahoma stopping and seeing a couple of friends on the way back. Not one problem with the car. Overall it was an excellent experience, especially when you are buying a car from photos and getting information from someone you don’t know. If you want a straight shooter when buying a Classic Car, Jim is the man. Thank you, DF-OK

Craig from San Diego says:

I would not have been able to sell my 1963 Split Window Corvette for anything close to its sale price without Jim's assistance. He is professional, hard-working, and his expertise was invaluable. I recommend him highly to anyone trying to sell a classic vehicle! (Craig, San Diego, CA)

HAPPY CLIENT

Jim, it was nice working with you.  I am not sure if I will do anything to the car (1970 GTO), but it really is a lot better car than I thought originally because the price was so good.  I am glad I came to look at it and have my mechanic check it out.  I will keep up with your cars because I still want to add to my collection as I can.  Thank you again.  AB, AL

Sheryl from Birmingham says:

Jim did an absolutely fabulous job from start to selling of my husbands car. He took, what was a very stressful situation for me, and made it very easy. He handled every detail as if he knew my husband personally. I highly recommend his services for selling your prized vehicles.(Sheryl, Birmingham, AL)

Description
Rare 1981 Excalibur Series IV Roadster

This 1981 Excalibur Series IV Roadster is a rare and desirable 2-seat model with rumble seat and one of just 159 Series IV Roadsters produced. Burgundy over tan with burgundy leather interior that's in very nice original condition. 305 GM V8 with 3-speed automatic transmission. It runs and drives great, showing 28k miles on the odometer. Very clean and solid undercarriage and frame. A very straight, honest, and original example that's ready for paintwork as it's faded at this point. The chrome also shows some pitting in a few areas. The Series IV automobiles debuted in 1980 and were the first Excaliburs to incorporate glass side windows and a power convertible top for the Phaeton and Roadster models. An impressive automobile with a beautifully lined body with electronically foldable rumble seat, power steering, and power windows. The Series IV was also the first to receive a full design face lift. The Series IV?s appearance was attributed to the 500K/540K supercharged Mercedes-Benz of the mid to late 1930?s. This particular Series IV Roadster represents an excellent opportunity for any Excalibur collector or enthusiasts.
