Jim, it was nice working with you.  I am not sure if I will do anything to the car (1970 GTO), but it really is a lot better car than I thought originally because the price was so good.  I am glad I came to look at it and have my mechanic check it out.  I will keep up with your cars because I still want to add to my collection as I can.  Thank you again.  AB, AL

I have been a hot rod guy since a kid. One car I have always wanted was a 1936 Chevrolet 5 Window Coupe that was ready to go. I found one that was close to my dream car on Classic Car Store’s website. All steel body built from the ground up as a Pro-Touring car and built right. Jim was very helpful, specific and told me the good and bad about the car. I decided to buy it, bought a one-way ticket from Oklahoma to Birmingham, AL. I hoped the car was what it was supposed to be. Jim picked me up at the Airport and took me to the Owner, an elderly gentleman in a small country town. The car was everything represented, much nicer than I expected. After getting the banking handled I made a road trip back home to Oklahoma stopping and seeing a couple of friends on the way back. Not one problem with the car. Overall it was an excellent experience, especially when you are buying a car from photos and getting information from someone you don’t know. If you want a straight shooter when buying a Classic Car, Jim is the man. Thank you, DF-OK

Hey Jim, I got the ’70 SS 454 yesterday.  It made the trip on the transporter just perfect.  It has been raining so I haven’t been able to get it out to drive yet, but hopefully tomorrow.  It is a beautiful car and some of my neighbors and friends can’t quit talking about it.  Thanks for your hospitality when I flew down to look at the car.  I am glad it was like you said and I think we both ended up pleased.  I definitely will refer you if any of my friends are looking for a classic car.  Thanks again.  JS, MA

Ann from Cincinnati says:

I worked with Jim to buy a Porsche 911 Cabriolet; I’d been looking for a Cabriolet in great condition for about a year and contacted Jim. Working with him via text, email and phone was simple and streamlined plus he’s a very interesting guy who is genuinely passionate about cars and about a straight forward sales process. I’d never purchased a car sight-unseen from an out of state seller — so I had some reservations, however Jim said all the right things, produced all the right support and responded quickly. The entire process took less time than I originally thought it might and the car exceeded my expectations. Thank you again, Ann (Cincinnati, Ohio)

1975 Ferrari 308GT4

This 1975 Ferrari 308GT4 is a highly original example that would benefit from a straightforward recommissioning. Red with a tan leather interior that's in very good original condition. 55k miles and offered with factory books and tools. It also comes with an extra set of wheels. It runs and drives but should be serviced prior to active road use. It also needs paint and minor cosmetics at this time. A solid and honest un-restored car with a lot of potential. Added to Ferrari s model range at the Paris Motor Show in November 1973, the Dino 308GT4 was the marque s first car with a mid-engine V-8 layout, and the first Ferrari with a Bertone-designed body. The sharp lines and wedge-like shape contrasted with the flowing curves of the earlier Dino-badged 246 GT, providing Ferrari with an angular 2+2 coup to face off against the Lamborghini Urraco. It cannot be denied that the 308GT4 is a very well balanced sports car with head turning looks and interesting mechanical engineering. The V8 will provide you with the best sound you can think of. The boot of the Dino fits enough luggage for a weekend getaway, and for shorter trips down to town, the Dino GT4 can even fit your two children at the rear. Combining these aspects, it is increasingly clear why the Dino GT4 has been gaining momentum in the collector car market. The car on offer might thus be your chance of owning a mid-engined V8 at the fraction of the cost of its 70s siblings from the same legendary brand. An increasingly collectible example of Ferrari s entry-level sports car. This particular example represents a great opportunity to enter the exclusive world of Ferrari ownership at a bargain price.
